Call for Abstracts

We are delighted to announce the Call for Abstracts for the second edition of the "Hardware Reverse Engineering Workshop" (HARRIS 2024) to be held on March 19 and 20, 2024, in Bochum, Germany. Following the success of last year's workshop, we invite researchers, professionals, and enthusiasts from academia, industry, and government to contribute presentations to this dynamic event.

Presentations may cover novel, previously published, or work-in-progress research, as well as practical case studies or field reports. Presentations are 20 minutes each, split into 15 minutes for the talk and 5 minutes for Q&A.

Submission Guidelines and Selection Process:

Prospective speakers are invited to submit a title and an abstract for a presentation related to the aforementioned topics. Abstracts should be informative and concise, with a maximum length of 300 words.

Each abstract submission will be reviewed by at least two members of the HARRIS 2024 PC. Abstracts will be judged based on whether they fit the scope of the conference and their overall quality. New research results may be prioritized over already published work. As HARRIS 2024 has no proceedings, presented work can still be submitted to other venues.

Both title and abstract of accepted presentations will be featured on the HARRIS 2024 website alongside speaker information.

Important Dates:

  • Abstract submission deadline: January 12, 2024 extended until January 19, 2024
